But, wait, you say. Tesla died in 1943! How is this handsome fellow appropriate for Future Friday?

Tesla's innovations and inventions laid the very groundwork to where we are as far as our technology today. We will be reaping the benefits of his hard and un-thanked work for years to come. And thanks to the generosity of geeks, nerds, and all-around neat people all around the world, his final laboratory will be able to be made into a museum and historic site, protecting it permanently.
